The District Council is seeking to appoint two Independent Persons to assist the Council in promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct amongst its elected members and town and parish councillors. The role of the Independent Person is a statutory post which assists in maintaining and promoting high ethical standards of conduct for councillors of Derbyshire Dales District Council and parish and town councils across the district.
