Document 2023 Election Expenses Return

Candidates in District and Parish Councils are required to submit to the Returning Officer a return setting out expenditure incurred during their campaign. The expenditure must not exceed the limit based upon the electorate in the March register.

A nil return must be submitted even if no expenditure was incurred.

For the May 2023 elections the deadlines are:
Parish/Town Council Candidates - Thursday 1 June
District Council Candidates/Agents - Friday 9 June
