Proposal that a Member of the Sub-Committee be elected Chair.

Members are required to declare the existence and nature of any interests they may have in subsequent agenda items in accordance with the District Council’s Code of Conduct. Those interests are matters that relate to money or that which can be valued in money, affecting the Member, her/his partner, extended family and close friends. Interests that become apparent at a later stage in the proceedings may be declared at the time.

At this point the Committee will consider excluding the public and press in order to consider its decision in private in accordance with the Hearing procedure.

This report informs the Committee of an application made under section 37 the Licensing Act 2003, by Star Pubs and Bars Limited, to vary the licence to specify Ian Richard Godfrey as Designated Premises Supervisor.

The report is restricted under Regulation 14 of The Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005. The public may be excluded from all or part of the hearing if the licensing authority determines that the public interest in doing so outweighs the interest in holding the hearing in public.
